Description
Historical accounts trace early pergolas to Ancient Greece, where they enriched buildings, gardens, verandas, public spaces, theatres and arenas. They became a defining feature of Greek and wider architecture.
In Greek architecture, pergolas came to symbolise elegance, beauty and a romantic atmosphere. Their filtered shade was also traditionally valued for well-being.
Filtered sunlight can create a pleasant environment and support relaxation and well-being.
Pergolas remain widely used in modern architecture across temperate, subtropical and tropical regions, including Italy, Greece, France, Monaco, Spain, Portugal, Malta, Morocco and the Americas.
Today, pergolas are a standard feature in villa design across these regions.
Our pergola louvres adjust from 0° to 120°, allowing precise control of daylight and solar exposure. Close them by remote for shade or open them for up to 90% sunlight.
The pergola is controlled by remote control.
The pergola structure is engineered for snow cover of 60–80 cm. When heavier snow is expected, the louvres should be left in the vertical open position.
Aluminium’s corrosion resistance, light weight and rigidity support a service life of 40–50 years or more.
The aluminium pergola is highly resistant to ultraviolet radiation.
